RISE TO ADDICTION Continue Work On Debut Album

RISE TO ADDICTION, the British band featuring former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar) and Steve Wray (guitar),will return to the studio next week with producer Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, TRIVIUM, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) to track another five songs to go with the seven already recorded for the band's debut album.

"The band is really happy with the depth and diversity of the material," reads a posting on the group's web site.

If all goes according to schedule, the as-yet-untitled album should go to mixing towards the end of July.

In other news, RISE TO ADDICTION will be performing at this year's "Welcome in the Beast – 666 – Metal Day Out" festival, set to take place June 6 in Auckland, New Zealand. A total of 18 acts will be appearing at the event, including ILLDISPOSED (Denmark) and FLATLINE (USA).

RISE TO ADDICTION recently parted ways with bassist Rob Naylor (ex-BLAZE),who left the band to pursue a "flying career." His replacement is Joel Graham, who has already played several shows with the group.
